Yea this thread is bull****. i would LOVE to see an HHR keep up with my 6. and anyone who is willing to try can shoot me a PM, im in northern california. you raced a base 6. 13.9 is pretty much standard for a 6 even with a ****ty driver (stock) with a good driver they can get 13.5's all day (i have done it)

Welcome to the board. I'm in Nor Cal, but I'm not interested getting a fat speeding ticket. If you'd like to get together in a non-antagonistic way, we can certainly compare notes. I have not been to the track and I have never drag raced, but I'd be happy to video and post your sub-14 sec run for these folks. Maybe you can give me pointers on getting started myself.

From a rolling start the speed 6 has a big disadvantage. From a stop it would probably win. AWD?

But really this thread is nearly a year old. Why do you have the need to try and show yourself. Who cares

Do you think you would have to break the speed limit to beat a mazda ?

I dunno, if he wants to take me up on showing me his mazda, maybe we'll get some hard numbers. What I'm not looking for is a street race or a pi$$ing contest. I appreciate nice cars even if it isn't an HHR. So, we'll see.
