I just hit 105 the other day in mine. Even the 2.2L with a 5 spd moves. Exhaust and cold air intke do help a bit with making the audible part of the journey worth while!

After sorting through all the expert / amateur opinions in this thread, I've scientifically concluded why SoCal's HHR is soooo fast....


It's the stubby antenna, folks!! Gotta be worth at least 20 MPH on the top end!! :)

So... I ordered one of the previously guarded speed-secret antennas!!

Look out world!!!

i dont know

i drive on the highway everyday and i cant get my 2lt above 108 unless im going down hill i can feel the gov kick in (auto)are you guys doing something diff then i am what is the top rated speed every gm product ive owned or my friends owned is limited to 108

Yea I got my Stubby last week, and I can tell a big difference in my MPG's too!! But seriously it does look much better, thanks Mike
