How do you remove Vent Visors???

I just attached my four vent visors on the "Chiller". They are the ones that are attached with 3M tape, Well, after they are installed, I noticed that the drivers side (back window) vent visor is cracked. How do I remove the broken visor so I can replace it?

Thanks
Doog Si Efil

Easiest way I can think of would be to let it sit out in the sun and let the car get nice and warm. Then, use dental floss or something similar and slide it under one of the ends and slowly move it from one end to the other until it comes off. You could also use a hair dryer to warm it up as well...just don't hold it in one place too long.

Are they in-channel or stick-on?
Both use 3M.
The in-channel will be more challenging, but hold off. I had a broken one, the vendor sent me an entire new set (free). I didn`t have to send them the broken one either.
I haven`t attempted to remove the cracked one yet, not toooo bad, just a worry.

To loosen up the glue, get Goo Gone from any auto parts store.

Angry

The in channel ones come off easier than the stick outside ones. Removed some from in channel on my sons Ranger. Pulled out without too much effort. Removed some stick to the outside ones from my wifes 05 Sorento..............major pain. The tape stuck in places and had to rub off very slowly.

I just reread this and low and behold, that`s the same vent that cracked on me.
The rear drivers side, back where the rubber strip seperates the two windows?
From the outside it`s hardly noticable.

That's the In-Channel Visor though isn't it? Not the stick on.

Yeah, in-channel. I think the load on the end helped crack it.
Maybe the stick-on type will fair better, just showing the area for reference.
