Need Help Car Won't start..Think its in security lockdown.

Need Help Car Won't start..Think its in security lockdown.
Hey guys first time really posting on the site. Have been searching but could not find an answer to my problem. I recently put back in my after market system in my car. The previous time i installed it no problems at all this time around i put the system back in wired everything up but now the car will not start. It clicks but no start up at all. When i look at the dash lights it shows the car symbol with the lock and the lock symbol is locked. I have no idea what to do now there was a burn smell as well that i don't know if that could be causing a problem. If the car is in lockdown mode what do i have to do to get it out and be able to start the car back up. I don't have any back up keys or warranty on the car so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did that put the stock HU back in and even diconnected the battery for 10min and still nothing the car when i turn the key to the on position keeps showing me the lock symbol which makes me believe its in a lockdown mode. Anyone know how to get it out

Its not the Key................
The wifes HHr did the same thing the radio wouldn't work the car woun't start the lock light blinks some times fast and the car makes a clicking if you try and start it but it wont start. called the dealer they told me that since I took out the radio it wasn't covered under the warranty and would run around 200 to reset the computer. I was tring everything diconnected the battery for 10min and so on......
what worked for me was to run the battery down tell the lights don't come on by leaving the door open you will know if the battery is dead after that I tried jump starting the car and it worked started right up. dont forget to leave the back open to get to the battery or you can jump it from under the hood.

Found a little more info for you I dont think its the key but you never know
If i was you I would try the first post I made if that doesnt work here is how to reset the key.............
The Tech II computer is the easiest, but there is a 30 minute procedure.
GM makes it take that long to deter thieves.
Not many of them are going to sit in your car for 30 minutes to steal it.
30 Minute Relearn Procedure
Use this procedure after replacing the following components:
• The PASS-Key III (PK3) keys
• The BCM
• The PCM
Important: This procedure is not available on vehicles equipped with option code (Z49).
If replacing a BCM with an GM SPO replacement part, perform the procedure to setup a new BCM prior to the 30-Minute Relearn Procedure.
With a master PASS-Key III key, rotate the ignition to the CRANK position.
Observe the SECURITY telltale. After approximately 10 minutes, the telltale will turn OFF.
Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.
Repeat steps 1-3 two more times for a total of 3 cycles or 30 minutes.
Important: The vehicle learns the key transponder information and/or passwords on the ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.
With a master PASS-Key III key, start the vehicle. The vehicle has now learned the key transponder information and the PCM has now learned the fuel continue password.
With a scan tool, clear any DTCs.
