New Custom side Graphics install...

I have seen alot of different graphics for the hhr, some a little to much flash
and some not enough flash, i think this fits my theme just right hope you like it i like the finished product which was not as easy as you think to put on as our rocker panels curve down
Rated:Moderate skill level wet install.
Pics in my gallery...

Transformer HHR
From your gallery so people can see it.

From your post and the "skill" level mentioned and knowing your HHR with the gull wing doors, and Transformer Theme, I was expecting a full blown Transformer Wrap!

I was expecting to see a full Wrap, thought maybe you came up with a design that when the doors were open and up looked like a transformer with it's arms up in the air!

I have seen that decal on ebay and think I have seen it on a few other HHR's.
Nice, adds a touch of sportyness. The Black stands out on your White well. Looks Good.

Not sure what the rocker panels curve has to do with anything tho since your decal is only on the Doors? The doors also have a curve but it's not a Compound curve, should have been a very basic simple install. Made even easier by not having the running boards in your way.

I own my own vinyl plotters (2) and still haven't cut and installed anything on my Panel. Never time to do your own things.
Was thinking about doing some type of a Retro type signage like youd have seen on old Panels back in the day when every mom & pa type store had Home Delivery on anything you bought.
I have rolls of magnetic sheeting I plan to use so I could add it for shows then remove for around town. Or just change em out to something completely different.

Found these Pics doing a quick Google image search for my inspiration.

Really Retro looking, somthing like these, but maybe a "Sign Shop" type advertising motif.
I was working up somethning when my PC up and Died on me several months ago.

I finally bought myself another one and now got it hooked up, I need to get used to Windows7 now, after years of Liking XP. Should have my Software installed soon and get my magnetics designed and cut.

I got a long list of other peoples stuff to get cut ahead of my own.
I was using my laptop for the past few months. Ugh! At least I hooked up a second monitor to surf the web with.

not gonna happen... i have to use the car for work,Videography/Photography even though it's a showcar it's also my only means of transportation you won't be seing any wraps or giant Tf logo's on this ride im going for the more "Dub" classy transformer "more than meets the eye" approach, everything hidden & clean with tf hints all around ie I have the words transformers on my inside door panels but there done in ghost lettering so you only see them at certain angles like ghost flames.
I made the graphics myself after seing them on ebay in a cheaper grade of material,
i was going to add a tf logo before the hhr but after looking at it decieded not to.
thanks for your comments...
jeff

Looking to do the black stripes on the hood to match the sides and tie the whole package together. Future plans...
