New HHR

Well monday I take delivery of my New HHR a 2010 black HHR LT2 with everything but a rear spoiler and a back up camera. Bought it for my wife. Has 77 miles on it. Replacing our 2006 Malibu LTZ. Now we can carry our dog to the beach.

Thanks all. Look forward to learning about the quirks and pleasures of this car. My test drive found the leather seating to be much more comfortable than my Malibu leather was.

I took my sport bra and dash mat from the other car. i also put the same kind of black door moulding back on. I'll try and get some decent shots of it or show how I had it on the other car.

I ran it on the doors only between the fenders and then put about an 18inch strip on each fender. Looks good and on this color it blends right in. Heres the old car. If you look real close you can see it.

Got it from Pep Boys. Simple black, no chrome or any thing on it. Abot 3/8 wide. I do believe it helps. I ran it 16 inches up from the running board . Here is the old car.

One more thing if this is your first one. I got use to it and others may disagree but to me, it has a heck of a blind spot caused by the passenger seat. Since I am alone in mine most of the time. (Wife has own car), I recline the seat back against the back seat.

This helps a lot. I also have little convex Walmart mirrors on the outside edges of each mirror. This is also good.
