Srvc Tire monitor?
#3
I second jczboy's response. I have had that on a few occasions and wound up having a total of three replaced. The dealer can attempt to retrain the sensor with their tool and it may do the trick. Otherwise, the tire bead has to be broken from the wheel rim and a new sensor (valve stem) installed. There is a little blurb in the owners manual about the sensor transmission being interferred with othe nearby signals from other sources, but usually it is simply the battery in the sensor going bad.

But, you didn't say..... does it go back to normal after you turn the engine off then back on? If that's the case then it's fairly normal temporary loss of signal, don't worry about it.

I had a right rear sensor that would suddenly fail at about the same location on my drive home. It did this every other day for two weeks, but I had no opportunity to service the tires/sensors at that time. Then, the problem went away. No idea why...perhaps the increasing heat in the tires at this time of year (tires gain 5 lbs pressure on my drive home, in 100+ degree heat). The problem hasn't re-occurred in a month, now.
