Question Rear window defroster

This thread didn't answer my question.

I RTFM and couldn't even find anything about the rear window defroster. How/when does it go on and how do you know if it is on or not.

(It must be getting cold)

Its a push button like th AC just on the the other knob where you pick where the air comes out(face, feet, defroster). Just push it and a light will indicate its on like the AC. It will also come on when you remote start it and its cold and the light will be on, at least mine does.

So it goes on automatically when you have remote start. I'll have to find cold weather to try it out... NOT!
