Do slim jims work on 2010 hhr's?

Ok well we got a copy from the dealership today for $50 and then did the transponder trick like the guy said (i was surprised he told us that)

Glad you're back on the road, I know how little fun being locked out of a car is, its like going to the dentist....just something you'd rather avoid at all costs.

For future reference, Chevy Roadside Assistance will provide this service for free. I locked my keys in the car here at work, and they sent a contract company out to do it. If you don't have OnStar, this is available until the car is 5 years old, or has 100,000 miles (at least for my '08). They used an inflated balloon and a slim jim device like ChevyMgr showed above.
