Post How to use the SEARCH feature

There are many ways to navigate around ChevyHHR.net and we have a handy SEARCH button feature to help you find what you are looking for.

At the top of each page is a quick click link bar. The "search button" is located on the lower level towards the right side.

Click the work/link "Search" and a drop down box will appear.

Enter a couple of key words of the topic your looking for in that drop down box.
You can select to find threads that contain your keywords or find just posts contain your inquiry. Then click "GO".

And when you are ready, you can also use the advanced search.

And the new one works even better than the old one, by far!!! There is so much info here, that almost any issue is documented already - with no doubt a few exceptions.

If one uses the SEARCH TOOL and can't find the info they are looking for, that's fine - responders will jump right in and help out. Often it is just a matter of searching for the right terms - and that can be a bit tricky sometimes.

But when one does not even try to use the SEARCH TOOL, and the responders end up doing the searches for them, it gets a little frustrating doing it over and over again if the poster can't even make the effort on their own.
