Do you change oil according to the oil life monitor?

I haven't so far, I have just been changing it every 5-6000 miles but in the cold I have let it go to 7500 miles and it's only at 41%. Do you let your's go to 0% or go by the miles driven? I do us a semi synthetic oil. Not sure if that should last longer or not.

I had 63000 miles on my old 06 2LT and would change when the sensor said to do it. No problems. I used Mobil 1 synthetic 5/20 or 5/30 I can't remember which.

My 3rd ol change coming up and I have just under 26k miles..anywheres between 5 and 20%......gives you wiggle room to 'plan' it. Right now I'm at 12 %

Dealer had just changed it before I bought mine. (which was of course overfull some)...

So I changed it to M1 full syn 5-30 shortly after I got it. I'm gonna go by the OLM, but never more than 1 year between changes..
