Have you looked up the code? ie: P0557 Brake Booster Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage OBDII Engine Light Trouble Code | Engine-Codes.com

Using the SEARCH tool at the top of the page showed only 1 thread discussing the p0557 code - and traced it back to a bad connection - https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/hhr-...-20946/page14/

But it is a thread from way back in 2009.

I am thinking the erratic idle is causing the brake booster problem, or the brake booster vacuum line is disconnected

Lets back up here for just a second.

Who's tune is it? Was it fine before you put the new tune in?

Bingo. He's using 3 bar sensors, if you haven't changed your sensors that is your issue. Put the stock tune back in it and do some more reading.
