4500 total SS built then 28% are manual. thats about 1300, then 5.2% are imperail blue so i think that would mean there is only about 68 imperail blue SS with manual tranny?? seems really low. i still havent seen another SS on the raod yet. a friend of mine from work called me last week to tell me he saw another SS near my work, it was black, i still havent seen it yet.

I see a silver one ever day here at work. We now have two SS in the parking lost and 7 HHR's.
Other than that I have only seen a few. A 5 of red ones. 3 black counting mine and one Orange one that I first test drove in May.
Word of warning please understand rare means little if there is no great demand. I expect that to happen as more people discover the SS.
Lets face it GM has done little to market these things.
It will be interesting to see what the 09 sales for the SS will be for a full year.

Thanks for gathering the info and passing it along and please thank your sources. I also believe once the "secret" (performance, gas mileage, styling, convenience) starts to get out that the HHR and particularly the SS will prove to be real assets for Chevy.

Rare? Sure, but in the grand scheme of things, I wouldn't plan on cashing in on this 'rare piece of automobilia' for at least another 75 years or so.
