Traction Control problem
#31
I have the same problem with the T/C light coming on, and the same MAP code. I have tried 2 dealers, both refusing to change the MAP due to my CGS intake. I did it myself, and still get the T/C light and the MAP code. Since my car got hit last year in the right rear wheel, I am trying to get an appointment with the dealer to check that sensor to see if it could be causing an errant code caused by a bad ground (this was suggested to me by several mechanics).

I just recently had the issue of hard shifts and the T/C light coming on and staying on. Like everyone else's, mine will reset after turning the car for awhile. It is totally random when it happens; I've had it happen when I drive it hard or baby it.

Just wanted to add, as I said in another post, I fixed my T/C off +hard shift problem. All I did was reseat the relays and fuses, which were loose, under the hood. I had the problem on every trip before that and Since then, I have not seen the problem.

Not fixed: T/C light
UPdate... This was not the fix! There was a brief time where it looked like it was fixed but the problem returned. I think it might be the MAF sensor, and I am taking it in next week... Seems like a common problem...
