possible oil leak?

Im so sorry guys it is the crankshaft seal it is right behind the crank pulley . my bad anyway it must had been leaking for sometime and notice it when putting on the quick struts ..I used dino oil for most of its life and then switch to a synthetic blend a month ago and can see oil on the bottom shroud on the passenger side were you can pop it off if you were changing the serpentine belt is ... any input on repair if anybody did one? thanks

If it is only weeping, don't agonize about it. If it is dripping steadily, you may not be able to torque the the new balancer bolt back on with home tools. It should not take a good mechanic more than an hour labor.

Type/brand/style of oil is irrelevant. It's a wear thing, you can try one of those seal treatment chemicals if it's weeping, but don't expect results.

thanks don brew but its weeping for sometime and i am going to replace the seal fel pro and timkin make them,anyways. I heard that a product called {At205} is the best for this use scott kilmer on you tube recommends this stuff...thanks

The bolt on the harmonic balancer needs to be replaced and the torque spec is 74 Ft.Lb. + 125 degrees. I don't know how you would hold the crankshaft.
