Newbie Question Difference of LT and LS?
#2
Not to confuse the issue there are 2 different LT's as well..... 1LT and 2LT. Fun huh?
It's basically availability of some options that separates the three different versions. The 2LT is the only one that can have the FE3 "Sport Suspension" and always comes with the 2.4L motor. The other two differ mostly by what comes with the base model but many of the "upgrades" can be ordered (except for that FE3 suspension)
I think they may have changed things around for the 2011 model year, it being the last.

LS is the Base model, 1LT is mid trim level, with most sought-after amenities, 2LT is top trim level with larger 2.4 litre engine, 17" wheels and all the goodies you could wish for ! SS is a slightly differant animal altogether, with Differant interior look, differant grille, 18" wheels and turbo-charged 2.0 litre, among other things.

LS = Base model limmited options. LT1 = More options. LT2 = lots of options come standard plus more options available. The badge on the car only will say LS or LT. If it is and LT your need to do some looking to findout if its a 1LT or a 2LT.
