Found this SS on craigslist using the door sill plate kit all wrong here is what its suppose to look like when used right



And here is how they used it on the SS.

That is my car and when I brought it in my dealer told me that this caused a loss of compression in piston 3 and has now voided my powertrain warranty. LOL

Think about it though.. I see their idea. I mean, it's like on a house, you're supposed to kick your shoes on it before you get in!

Who is to say that they didn't know they were using it in an alternative method. Like the idea Eric mentioned, I have heard many members on this site complain that they can't get in the HHR without kicking the sides. It's not much different than the rear bumper pad protector. Does it look good? Personal opinion.
