Question License Bulbs Acting Irratic!?!?

Ok, here's is a good one for all of your tech geeks out there, I got a small problem. about 1 year ago I swapped my bulbs for the License Plate to LED bulbs. Exact bulb can be found at http://www.oznium.com/194 and I bought the White ones. OK here is my problem. recently I will remote start my car, which I do a lot and I'm not sure why, but anyhow; when I do sometimes both of my lights are out. Sometimes I will have the left one on and the right one out and vice versa. I can't pinpoint the problem, but the bulbs are both fine and have been fine for the whole year they have been service. any thoughts?

Have you checked for rust on the contacts inside the socket? It can be sanded and some dielectric grease placed to stop future rust.

It is also possible that the bulbs are in backwards. When I swapped all mine out, I had one marker light that kept going out. Once I flipped it, it's never flickered again.

on LEDs you have to pay attention to the polarity. You have two sides to an led (anode and cathode) and if they are backwards, the LEDs will not work properly (if at all) typically, the anode side (i think) is indicated by a flat spot on the bulb near the connector pin. you may want to double check this, but i believe that the anode side goes into the positive side, and the cathode goes into the negative...
