Austin area HHR club forming
Looking to find HHR owners who are interested in forming a local car club with like minded individuals for these unique retro style vehicles to gather monthly to share customizing tips and skills, share how to information and to help each other with projects on thier cars as a group. Open to any age or gender ! The meetings will be held monthy to start at a park like setting with trees grass and shade at a private residence on acerage with volleyball , horseshoes and barbequeing so spouses and significant others as well as children are encouraged to attend the facilities have a place to work on vehicles with tools or just come show your vehicle off to others. a primary focus will be to learn low dollar do it yourself customizing with the help and experience of others in a social club setting as well as bringing out guest speakers from the industry such as pin stripers, painters.paintless dent repair and car customizing people etc.Please call 512 275 6583 to add your name to the list so we can set a date for the first get together. I am very interested in joining a local club. We always had a great time meeting others people and thier cars when we participated in others clubs. We belonged to the local PT Cruiser group and the LX group (Dodge Magnum) until we traded the hemi (fuel cost - 650 miles a week) and the Cruiser was totalled in a parking lot while sitting still. My experience has been nothing but positive because of what you can learn. Contact me at anytime. Universal City is only 45 minutes drive to Austin.
