I have a manual and added a prothane lower motor mount to the front. Increased the feel of the engine in the cabin with vibration, but I think it's an improvement because now I know what is going on with the engine. The reason I changed it was due to the banging in the front end over low bumps at 15 to 20 MPH. I had already changed sway bar end links, struts, strut mounts, sway bar bushings, and checked everything else people say causes the problem. Then I thought what if it's the engine bouncing on it's mounts...Seems i might have been right since I reduced the banging by 40 percent just with one mount. I plan on changing the other lower mount and doing the TTR upper mount in the near future.

If anyone is looking to get mounts for the Auto SS - I recommend getting them, especially since TTR has them in stock.

Upper Engine Mount (auto trans) - Turbo Tech Racing Solid Upper Engine Mount Chevrolet Cobalt 2.2/2.4L HHR 2.0/2.2/2.4L Auto Trans - Drivetrain

Since they don't make trans mounts, get the bushings and press into mount. Super simple, and comes with instructions - https://www.turbotechracing.com/prod...8&idcategory=0
