2008 hhr ss vs. The world
I have a 2008 HHR SS automatic, I am not saying it is the world's fastest HHR, but I have not yet been defeated. I try not to look for trouble, but it usually finds me. I like the fact that people don't respect the SS badge. They take the Turbo for granted, and are surprised when they come up short. I love my SS and would not trade it for anything. I have raced 350Z's, Mazda 3 wagon, S2000, and of course rice rockets. Just today on my way home a turbo-charged Genesis coupe pulled up next to me on the 91 FWY and after 3 hanks we both took off. All I was able to see was the Genesis in my rear view mirror. Later down the road, while stuck in traffic, he pulled up next to me and asked what I had in my HHR and was surprised I took him.
I LOVE MY SS!!!!

I have lost a few red light matches.....one that I was kinda mad about because my boost was acting up. From a roll against a MS3, I lost by about a car from 30-80 or so... But I only hit about 12lbs of boost at wot...I did beat a yellow RX8 this morning though

Wow you guys are lucky it seems like since I got my GMTU I havnt seen any sports cars on the road or any car willing to race for that matter. Before the upgrade everyone wanted a pice. I haven't been able to really test out the GMTU except against a Mazda speed 3 which I beat but that was a few months ago. Oh well the bottom line is that the HHR SS rocks and all those haters and skeptics can shove it

Of course now mine is sleeping for the winter while the salt is on the roads.
