The car itself is not legally able to be registered anyway, it's a 46k$ trophy. For 46k, I could get an LS7Z and be done with it.

X 2, & for $46K, I could get a half decent 1941 Willys coupe, & finish it my way..

But still a great conversion, A L99 out of a camaro or 6.0 from a truck with f body intake backed by a 6 speed would have been my choice. Government compliant, knock down 25 mpg, and hold on to your butt fast.

I'm sure glad we don't have to do that in Louisiana. The place I get inspected doesn't check ANYTHING! If there is something that is obviously not legal they just tell you "if you get stopped, you did it after you left"
