nice work. lt1 is kinda slow though...I bet you smoked it. I roasted my friends lt1 vette a few times with my SC setup and a modded SS is probably quicker than my hhr was. I pulled on an lt1 camaro in my gms1 solstice like nothing and the guy was astonished its a 4cyl.

What's so astonishing about a mere 2.6hp per cubic inch...

One of our old members has his detuned a tad at 4.5hp/cube, wonder what he can pick on ? That Solstice must corner pretty good, without an HHR body on it.

Handling is terrific, but its easy to overwhelm the stock tires. GM did a good job of making it fairly hefty though at 2950lbs. With a little more drivetrain loss being rear drive, I think a gms1 hhr or cobalt would pull on a solstice a bit.

hhrfreek: funny you should say that. A few days ago, a Soltice followed me for aways, then pulled out to go around. With open two lane road ahead, I let him get alongside, then pulled her down in 2nd gear, went into boost, and let him read my rear license plate for awhile. At stoplight he pulled along side, smiling, then shook his head, and gave me a thumbs up. Think he thought I was easy pickings...Not. "Moon"
