2008 HHR SS Victory Red Manual
For Sale2008 Chevrolet HHR
Description:
Good vehicle, priced for actual condition. No surprises.
Purchased 12-2016, 95,625 miles, has 110,300 currently. Low miles due to being stored, in a heated garage, frequently. Always had 1-2 other cars to use, choosy where I would take it. 60% of my miles were for going to race events, plenty of room for 2, luggage, food, race car tools. Good road car, 28/29MPG.
Faults; front spoiler lip needs painted, no cracks. Usual rock chips on front end. Small scuff RF bumper, right rocker panel needs repaint, not broken. Roof spoiler has a crack, small, area repaint and spot paint. Rear bumper scuffed, parking lot damage.Small change holder bad. Tire pressure monitor inop, don't have key fobs to complete reset. Has scuffs on rear cargo floor. Has FE rattle like sway bar links worn.
Good: Less than 4K on new General GMax tires. Less than 2K on new drilled/slotted rotors and pads, New OEM shifter assy w/ boot and knob. Premium $130 battery. AC serviced last fall, only slightly low Freon. Has 6 speaker with woofer Radio/CD player. Wheels decent. paint shines, interior/dash good has launch control and full throttle shifting. I've never tried it. Engine had minor Turbo operation faults but has been properly repaired, very odd coil pack voltage leak, new plugs.Only mod, K&N Cold Air Sys. All air cleaner hardware replaced.Valvoline Full Syn oil used. Can be driven anywhere. Side notes: You might be able to find an SS with fewer blemishes, but those faults are not hidden on my car, but others may need the over $2000 I've spent to maintain it as a reliable vehicle because I wanted to. Never raced or abused by me. Common sense says it time to sell, as Arthritis says I won't be able to drive it much longer. I have 3 other cars, 2 are auto trans, which aren't painful to drive. Interested buyers can email for more info/questions/pics. No tire kickers or test drives for fun.
FIRST $7000 buys my car. Medically had my Arthritis verified, but worse is my right shoulder. I can't get a quart of milk from the fridge without sharp pain, 2 hands required.. It's a rotator cuff problem. Surgery or restricted use, i found out I can get a decent trade in for a Mini Cooper with auto/paddle shifter, Getting 5th gear in the HHR is painful. Will remove the ad in 2 weeks.
