2009 hhr ss
For Sale2009 Chevrolet HHR
Description:
Ok, all you HHR SS Turbo lovers. Can someone please buy mine for what is is really worth, or the Fair Market Value.
I love the think and besides regular maintenence issues, the only problem I have had is a EVAP problem. I researched it and replaced the everything that Chevy said it might be, well it has never ran or acted any different so the only way I even know it had a EVAP problems at all is that the Engine light came on so I checked it with my plug in device and got the EVAP code, so then I started replacing stuff, and then after the third part being replaced I didn't know what to do but was not too worried because Chevy said it will not hurt the vehicle and that the EVAP is used to burn and store the engine emissions. I am still concerned about polluting the air, I am on disability and can't afford to actually take it to a shop or the dealer so maybe whoever buys it will qlready know how to fix it.
So it is fully loaded and I am currently trying to install a knew touchscreen head unit after the original pioneer took a poopy on me. Has all pioneer speakers and factory built in pioneer subwoofer.
Besides the EVAP, there is not a think wrong with this SS and it has what myself and many others consider the nicest and rarest color of the SS's I have seen three Imperial Blue Metallic HHR's ever and one only one of those was an SS and that was mine.
The body is very straight with very few small scratches and a couple very small chips. It also comes with the Weathertech fitted all weather floor mats. I replaced the front wheel bearings less than 3 months ago and the tires are a year old but do not have many miles at all. Has a aftermarket grill that does make it look a little meaner.
Gets great gas mileage and if i was not worried about dropping dead earlier than I should like my father did and dreaming that I will get a Camaro before that does or does not happen, I would just keep it. It is super fast, corners like a go-kart and you can fold all the seats down and fit a lot of crap or live.in the thing if you had too.
If whomever is reading this thinks that I am wanting you all to feel sorry for me and buy my SS out of sympathy, and of course, the love of Chevrolet, then you are absolutely correct. I just realized out of all the cars I have ever financed or purchased or whatever, this HHR SS was the first one that was actually my choice considering my limited budget. I have always wanted a first gen Camaro because they are beautiful and I would never have to take it to a mechanic because I am very handy when it comes to stuff I love, but dealers never carry the ones that are are lower priced because they need a little worse a lot of work so a first gen, I knew would always be out of reach baring a miracle. Of course, then I seen the retro concept drawing of a new gen Camaro by.some random dude and just about pooped. Besides the first gen the 5th gen concept was the most beautiful car I had ever seen. I did not think at the ti.e that it was actually going to happen and look almost identical to the drawing but then a short 5 or 6 years later it was announced and I knew at that moment that if I didn't drop dead right then I had a very good shot at owning the closest thing to my dream car that I would ever own.
Ok, so I could try to go trade it in bur dealerships are just as evil as they have always been and the only way I am going to get financed is by having some money down, well at this point of my life is just not an option unless someone that is fair and honest and knows what I have and appreciates it's value make some a great offer so I can pay off what I owe on it and have a little left over for the dream or you want to just Co-sign for me. Hahaha
Well, that's my rant for the day. I appreciate your patience if you actually read through to the end.
Let me know if you have any questions, if I know the answer, you will know the answer.
I will never get what I would maybe get in a different car buying climate. I am getting such contradictory pricing, it is kind of annoying so i am going to go by the market value pricing that I got from cars.com, at least I am pretty sure that is wear I found it. I will try to find the pricing again and if I do, I will post it here. Thanks again and CHEVY RULES.
P.S. I am obviously open to a trade for a Gen 1 or Gen 5 Camaro. You never know I guess.
Clean title, by the way.
