Description:
Hay all, im looking for a shop manual for a 2008 HHR SS. i may need to pull the engine in my car for possible head work. I could really use a quality shop manual to keep me from gooning up the job. Thank you.
You don’t need to pull the engine to replace the head gasket! You can do that from up top!

The very first sticky in the how to section is https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...manuals-64433/
Thank you Oldblue. Im much more comfortable working on my Plymouth and a CH46. All this electronically controlled stuff is still witchcraft to me. Im completely lost. I can follow a manual im just having trouble finding a quality one that doesn't cost more than i can afford.
No witch craft here, just ask us, we can tell you everything you need to know to fix your HHR , as Donbrew posted he has online manuals free !
I’ve been wrenching on cars since 1962, with my Dad. And I’ve never owned a lift or anything fancy. I have some tools from my professional days and racing Dirt Modified Big block Chevys, 28 years then before that 15 years drag racing. So, there’s not much I haven’t tackled to modify or replace or repair.
