Today, everybody 'tunes' , with a 'program' change.
In the old school days, we 'tuned' by changing the 'jets', & advancing the
distributor. Not really replacing parts, just 'tuning'....
Tools yesterday would be screw drivers & wrenches, today tools would be
laptops & cables...

Haters gonna hate.

I have tuned a 4 carb bike using jets. (I also pulled the mechanical points electrical system and converted it to an electronic ignition) I had to tune it for the same reason as many HHRs are tuned; aftermarket exhaust and intake. The parts and techniques have changed, the reasons haven't. With aftermarket filter setup my bike won't run right without the tuning parts. (jets) I still regard a tune as parts for that reason.

I do hate stick shifts for sure....
And I do hate the president for 'dumbing', our country down with his
Socialistic values.
OMG obama must go
Clint Eastwood rocks....

It's still just 'tuning', not really replacing hard core parts.
Now converting from mechanical to electrical ignition, is a hard parts change.

Getting back to the OPs post.

K&N addressed the restriction in the intake tubing.
It works very well.
Retains the stock 'cold' air intake of fresh air.
No reason to do anything else, if your looking for power.
Another intakes look pretty, & shiny, but don't get the job done.

How the hell did a thread about air filters get political?
As far as im concerned I don't want either candidate near my car. They both hot air and not good for my intake.

To sum up:
  • The K&N filter is fine.
  • Haters gonna hate
  • The K&N intake is too expensive. I get more than enough air for E50 through the stock one considering I'm not on slicks.
  • Some politicians are worse than others.
  • You could run a sock puppet with a proper tune, but only the sock puppet is a hard part.
  • If it isn't on video, it never happened.
  • Some ppl are wound tighter than others.

Lmfao I do that before every run in the box. And I only have GMTU. Pretty easy to turn off esc, pull the e-brake and roast em. Should be done before every run anyway.

2005hhrauto, stfu Bout your 12s run. No vid = no proof. Until u show us proof, keep expecting these responses. I believ it's possible but this is the Internet. Do you really expect us to take ur word for it?
