Anyone with Stage 1 and Auto have this happen....

If I am driving in Competition Mode(which is almost always :D) and not driving hard, I am talking just normal driving, my tranny will slip from 1st to 2nd at times. Lets say I am taking off from a light or a stop sign, again not getting on it,every once in awhile it will slip from 1st to 2nd. And sometimes the slip is bad....I can actually rev my engine during the slip and then it will hit 2nd and take off hard. The dealer cant find a problem and they say its normal. Again on every say 10 times, it will happen 2-3 times so its not always there. Anyone experience this?

That doesn't sound normal at all. It's never happened to me, before or after the stage 1 install. ??

Can't say that I see that issue....but I don't have comp mode on all the time. I'll monitor this thread to see it leads.

Seems to be after I installed Stage 1......but then again I only started using Comp Mode after I had the Stage 1 kit installed so who knows if it was there before?

I do notice a hard kick at times, like the comp is confused, when I drive in 'I' around 30-45 mph and in comp mode or with ESC completely off. But, never really hard. Just alittle rev shift type thing. No real slip.

I don't think I have had anything like that happen with mine. Going to have to watch for it though.

Agreed, I'll keep an eye on mine too as I don't always drive in Comp. mode and w/ the tranny in "I" all the time.

When I am driving in "I" and shift back into "D", there is some slippage before it engages again. The tack goes up about 200rpm, then back down when the next gear kicks in.

I too noticed this. So now from a stop if I'm going to go hard I put it in L and then shift to I and back to L to hold that gear longer up to say 60mph
