I'm right there with ya, I like listening to the car more than the radio.

MAF relocate aside, it is an added performance tool when used with a turbo above the 04

I'd say "cool sound" is the one gain , no problem with that at all though!

My compressor talks all sort of amazing noise with the Forge alone .

Yeah, it makes a nice WOOSH all on its own, and...(there will be nay sayers) the BPV will TWEET when warming up your tires at the drag strip. Happens every time.

OK, let me see if I have this correct now. The BPV is actuated by a vacuum created in the intake manifold when you let off the throttle via a vacuum line which allows over pressure in the cold pipe, prior to the throttle plate, to be released back into the exhaust stream. The diagrams I have looked at make it look like it is vented into the hot pipe but from what I've read it's the exhaust.. Cool pics attached. I assumed that it was a pressure relief valve similar to the ones we use at work that are "pushed" open not "pulled". Now that I have one to look at it makes more sense.

Love a forged aluminium block. I'll have one in my vette some day too. I'm waiting for after the LSX era.

When installing it do we need to lubricate anything before putting the new one in?
