Hey guys, new here. Sorry for my ignorance but i'm new to the turbo world. Is this BOV replacement louder than the factory piece?
Reading through this thread it sounds like it is louder, but I know some were talking about actual atmoshperic BOV's so I got confused.

Also, my SS is bone stock, will adding this piece require any tuning or cause any issues?

Yes it's a tad louder but it's also a different sound. More of a bark from what I've been told.

There is at least one youtube video that I know of with it on a cobalt that you could listen to.

No tuning required and no issues

Mine should be in next week also. Just hope it does'nt make mine louder. With my custom C.A.I., you can definately hear it over a block away[so I've been told]. It's really loud in the car, even not into boost. Major sucking sound[don't go there!]. Strapping on a K&N at the same time to see if any pick up. "Moon"

I wanted it a little louder at the start, but like i said, with my CAI, sucker get loud. Even at part throttle around town, it's hissing and doing the "Whoomp-Whoomp "thing. It's plenty loud enough as is ,when its dummping boost,[even with stero turned up], so we'll see if the valve makes any difference. "Moon"
