DEI heat soak socks could cure your fuel issues
I'm always looking into new products and how they can maybe help issues on other rides , or maybe I just couldn't find the part for Cobalts , Ions , and HHR SS's, oh my!
These heat sink socks seem to be just the ticket for my turbo charged friends, check them out

Now I can read and do see this kit is for a Jeep but maybe there is a kit for the SS or this can be adapted or contact Design Engineering Inc for information from their tech guys

Combined with this for the cold air pipe

I'm remembering back in the day , I ran my fuel line in a cool of copper tubing thru an ice chest in the back seat area and the chest full of ice to cool the fuel during a 1/4 mile run, in my 74 Valiant with a 440 stuffed in it, I don't recall any big advantage but it did run better and a little faster maybe 3 or 4 tenths of a second.
So I'm thinking keeping the fuel injectors insulated would maybe yield some advantage , like longer life as the plastic is shielded from the heat

I'll comment.
I'd like to see comparisons on something like this, but my gut says it won't make much of an impact. Why? Because passing through fuel injector nozzles creates a mist which already cools the fuel right before ignition. Especially on a DI engine like the SS, where the pressure is higher. I'm not closed-minded, but I think this would help older, more traditional fuel setups more.
