factory motor mount

does the factory motor mount actually get that worn out at 45,000miles ? i am putting on my turbo tech auto trans motor mount right now and i had to jack it up another .25 inch and pull engine towards the radiator to line up the 15mm bolts...

it seemed so low that i actually thought turbo tech sent me the wrong mount.. box says colbalt 2.2/2.4 hhr2.0/2.2/2.4 but man.. it seemed low... the motor mount from factory was shot for sure its thats the case:)

Could be worn out, rubber with high summer heat and cold winters rubber doesnt stand a chance.

I really need to get some of those mounts...especially with my new tune...thing slides all over the place

Mine seemed shot at 21k

Yes, the stock mout does get that bad, and sometimes worse that you stated. Ours come and will stay at what height the factory level is.

yes the solid mount definately shows the true position of where the engine is suppose to sit for sure . im sure the cv joints will be happier and longer lasting now too being aligned better again
