Forum title - 245 lb-ft of torque?

Hey, don't we have 260 lb-ft of torque? Or does this forum title know something I don't? Just looking for the truth here...

I thought I've read that the 260 lb-ft is actually a bit underrated, as some dynos have shown even more than that.

May I also just say that I love this engine for the wall of torque it delivers from low revs almost to redline - it feels like a way bigger motor than it is. I love driving a bright red fast-as-hell turbo-SUV/wagon! I think it freaks people out as I blast by

I've seen all kinds of conflicting info. Even from Chevy. Add in the difference between auto & man transmissions, and your head will spin.

Yup 260 lbs with stick is the official Chevy rating. I emailed the forum owner to request a correction but he seems only interested in responding to people that send him money. (As in an advertiser)

Didn't even get the courtesy of a response.
