i don't know aaron. i'm going to sit back and watch. i hope everyone don't get their hopes up with the gm tune + hpt will give them alot of hp. something smells about this imo. yeah it's great that you can have a warranty tune, but thinking you can slap a tune on top of that??? not sure with the sensors they are adding and with them under your hood...

who knows for sure that this will work with the hpt??? i know gm won't say it. did they??? just to much of the unknown for me. i'll stick with the 307whp with all hahn equipped.:D

My fav parts guy also says the current list price is $750, giving me a break at $605, so I am happy. I bet some enterprising dealer such as the crate place bought some up early and then they had a price increase as GM saw how popular it was going to be. Its still a good bit under "less than $1000" that was mentioned earlier.
QUESTION: Is there any "official" time listed for install anywhere, as my local dealer has not anything printed to base an install price on, and I'm not sure of giving them a carte blanch blank check for install.

Your car club buddies will need the MAP and TMAP sensors as well, and I don't believe you're going to be able to clone the flash using GM dig tools... as I (mis)understand it, the kit comes with a 'coupon' that the GM tech uses to connect to GM to download the actual flash bits. With the amount of 'security' they've put into that download process, I'd imagine they didn't forget to count the number of downloads against a single VIN.

I just ordered mine from Crate Engines Depot. Now I have to figure out which dealer I trust enough to install it.

Welcome Bill.
Glad to see someone here from GM engineering.

The Kit has a recommended 1 hr install time. When we did the first install in the world it took less than 1 hr. So at a dealer labor rate of $90/hr it should be about $90 for the install.
