HPTuners VCM Suite
Also when I modify a tune I rename the old one keeping the original file name and adding the reason why the change. Notes such as 30 psi spike or great HWY or original GMTU shift points. Great for later reference.
Victory, did you notice and HWY MPG change? mine is still saying 26mpgs doing 80. Dont know if i need to reset cluster or not to get the proper info, or if HMY MPG is just unchanged. i about to go on a trip and just wanting to know if the tune is affecting the MPGs while cruising.
TUNE_vX.Y.Z
TUNE = Tune name. Represents the overall aim of the tune.
vX = version number. If I were at v1 and I started over from stock and accomplished a different but better tune, it would be v2.
.Y = the current iteration of version. Modifying something not in this or previous iterations results in an increment to this.
.Z = The current revision. Involves minor revisions to an existing iteration.
Then I can just document top-down in a separate document with each iteration containing the prior modifications unless changed under the revisions.
