Almost 2,000 miles, but relatively little liquid caught.

So is the collection on the Intake side still almost all water, or what percent oil as an estimation? I bought a pair of catch cans to do my Yukon and HHRSS. The one on the Yukon works great, but I haven't installed the one on the HHR, and now trying to decide if I really need two or would eliminate most oil in the intake by just doing the intake mod and 1 catch can. I am not using any noticable oil in the 5-6000 mile oil changes, but do see oil residue in the intake. At 96 k miles and an sure I need to clean the intake valves. Makes plenty of boost but doesn't have the zip it did.

Yes, both cans catch muck that is almost all water. I would not choose one over the other. One keeps muck from building up in the intercooler, the other keeps muck from building up on the valves.

Warning to anyone with catch cans: Clean them periodically, I would guess every 6 months or so.
Here are my findings about it

Any filter container should be cleaned or replaced after X amount of hours. Air, water, oil or oil vapor.
Granted if you had a restriction gauge on it you have seen the filter was plugging up and knew to service it.
