my 0-60 mph time manual HHR SS with tune

Using my friends phone we were able to clock the 0-60mph times of my manual 2010 HHR SS with Trifecta budget tune and 245 Cooper performance all seasons tires. I did about 8 runs and the average time came out to 5.4 seconds. I noticed that ANY wheel spin hurt my times and the best time I pulled was pulling off at about 3500 rpms and gradually letting the clutch up with no wheel spin. Not bad for a four banger wagon doing stock Camaro SS and Mustang Gt 0-60 times.

Over the next two weeks I will be installing the following and run the 0-60 times again: ZZP downpipe and intake with K&N filter, Dejon charge pipes , crazy Steve IC, and TurboTech upper poly motor mount and new Tricecta tune. I will post new times with mods.

Next year I will be taking the car to the track and seeing if I can pull some 13's 1/4 mile times.

Welcome to the forum! You may be in the 13's already. Doesn't take much with the SS

I love the shock look on peoples faces when I pull hard away from them and they can't catch me in their usually much more expensive car.

A friend of mine just did low13's in his EVO. I would love to pull close to his times and having spent about 15 thousand less total investment!

low 13's is a big difference from high 13's. for example....a lot of SS's will do 13.9's. only a few SS's will do 13.1's. but with the right investment anything is possible.

I would be happy with mid to high 13's .

Just hard to get traction if you come off the clutch too fast.

if you have the cash/time,upgrade the clutch and have vince upgrade your tune...then you will really be happy!!
