new BOV spring installed...
Many small mods can be cheap for single upgrades. When mass produced, they always shave corners somewhere to reduce costs. My wife's stock one in her eclipse GSX 2.0 turbo was also effective, but not of great quality. The HKS was a nice mod.
todays's update.....
with a full day of driving (back & forth to work)
I can really feel the difference with the spring, it adds to the tune, the engine is more responsive.
Quicker spool-up with the boost, almost like on-demand. with each little addition, it just gets better. more testing to occur...stay tuned.......

I got pics in my photo album<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<.....You remove the airbox, the tube going out the back of the airbox down to the turbo, remove the three bolts from the side of the turbo be ready to catch the spring and diaphragm, put in new spring, diaphragm, bolt it back up, DONE
Rommer its easy sir.but ok:maybe this will help you. Look @ these pics then, look at block off plate pic thats the diapragm that you will be looking for its not like mine but thats your area to look for.

you need a 1/4" drive ratchet and a 10mm 1/4" drive long socket. You can do this without removing the air box, just takes some patience. There are 3 bolts, save the top one for last. As you undo the top bolt, do a few turns until you can unscrew the bolt by hand. Make sure that you have the plastic part (cap) held securely when removing the last bolt. As you remove the plastic part from the turbo, be carefull the diaphragm and spring doesn't shoot out when removed. Remove the diaphragm from the holder and remove and install the new spring. Take note.....the new spring has more tension in it, therefore it will be harder to put back into place. This is where it takes patience, because you have to hold the part in place while starting to thread the bolts by hand. Get 1 bolt in and then use the ratchet to tighen down enough, but not all of the way, so that you can hold the plastic piece in place as you start the 2nd and 3rd bolt. then tighten down all 3 bolts, til they are snug, no need to overtighten. And there you go, don't do what I did and drop a bolt into never-never land......
hope this helps......
BTW, the site where you order the spring from has an excellent pic of what the parts look like....have fun....
