I've been a bit busy = since my post = I've removed the engine/tranny = CURRENTLY REPLACING A FEW PARTS, BUT REALLY GETTING THE EXTRIOR OF THE ENGINE ALL CLEANED UP & PROPER LOOKING. Also going to remove the windshield washer fluid container & install a proper COLD AIR INTAKE KIT...

the SUSPENSION is also being worked on, etc...

my SS isn't going to be anything fancy, I just need her to be maintained & mint condition, plus set her up to take curves as best, fast & as safe as possible...

Have a look at a rear sway bar! Try ZZP or contact Turbo Tech Racing , Power made a good one.

Interested in this. What kit? Way too many called “cold air intake” are really hot air intakes.

ZZP apparently did some comparison and concluded that it doesn’t make much difference. I’m skeptical. They probably did it with one of their huge intercoolers.

A lot of these builds are motivated more by their cool looks than actual performance.

Also, just saw a thread elsewhere about a hapless owner whose modified intake ingested a huge amount of water from driving through a prodigious puddle. Wasn’t clear at the time if hydrolock had occurred. I’m betting yes. Choose wisely.

I would be horrified at the idea of losing my windshield washers, but I use my SS as more of a Grand Touring (GT) car. For a track only car, it would be fine.
