question on choosing mounts

okay with the powell mounts, they don't require a top mount?? so you just pay $330 for one mount to do the same job as a TTR top mount and trans mounts??

I have heard not to run rotated mounts with the top mount....can't remember exactly why and don't quote me on that cause my flame suit is in the wash haha. Powell invented the rotated mount....tha OG...when I do mounts I'm doing powells period. When it comes to anything handling related....they got my vote. Ogs been doin it since it could be done! My $.02

be sure to buy directly thru Powell Race Shop

but yes, with the powell stage 2 mounts (even just the stage 1) you don't run a solid top mount.

i've ran these mounts in my old Cobalt SS/SC & now my HHR SS, absolutely no vibrations (minimal with a/c on) and absolutely no wheel hop.

Im running the Stage 1 PRS mount. No vibes and or wheel hop. John told me himself not to get the top mount and he knows wayyyyy more than this one vendor on here lol... So yeah grab the Powell mounts and be happy. If you dont drag race or anything then the stage 1 is more than enough
