has anybody tipped a little race gas in their tank yet? wondering if the computer would get a little more aggressive with timing with higher octane. i just drove 75 miles last night to pick up a black 5spd car with lsd. i'm already getting the bug. i can't leave anything alone.

 

It would smell nice at least... haha. I doubt anyone has done it yet.

 

I threw some VP 110 in mine that I had left over from racing motocross. Does smell pretty but couldn't really tell any performance gains/losses. Only had bout 4 gallons left over and 3 or so gallons of 91 octane left in the tank though

 

Race gas will usually degrade performance unless the tune is altered to utilize it correctly. It will not cause the timing to go higher than the setpoint in the high octane table.

 

My buddies dad has a nice size drum of 115 I think. Doubt I will be able to get any though lol
