Question Scan crazy

Who else SCANS/DIAGNOSTIC TEST their SS on the daily? lol = I run several scans a day = FULL SYSTEMS SCANS!!!

When i got my HHR SS late last year = she was coded = I got her for a damn good bargain of $4700/which included shipping from FLORIDA to TEXAS, etc. Now, I have put some serious money into her, via OEM REPLACEMENT PARTS, etc = now, my SS codes CLEAN = 0 CODES on the daily. She pretty much has new OEM everything, except the struts/shocks, for which I have a COIL OVER KIT already shipped to me. I'm unsure as to what brand of rotors to get, & whether SLOTTED & DRILLED would make a positive difference, etc? Of course, I'll be refurbishing all the BRAKE CALIPERS & painting them SILVER to match my SS...

any recommendations on FRONT/REAR ROTOR KITS would be greatly appreciated = THNX...

Slotted and drilled rotor are pretty but not an improvement over stock. In fact, there are arguments against them.

Depends on if you have Brembo brakes up front.

I put the drilled and slotted rotors with my Brembos. Not much difference from the stock rotor/pads.
But they did look nicer.

To be honest = I'm not sure if my SS has BREMBOS = I'm assuming the CALIPER would say BREMBO & mine don't...

Brembos were only available on the 5 speed SS.

He has the manual transmission, but the Brembo option was a bit harder to find on the 08s.
