Does anyone now a part number for just a magnaflow muffler for a ss. I have a bunch of 3 inch pipe from another project I had and would like to just buy the muffed and do the exhaust myself

I think you could just find one that fits the spot, and use that. That was how I put a Magnaflow on my last car. Figure out what LxWxH will fit, and whether the pipes need to be center or side exit, and that's pretty much it. A decent shop that sells these ought to do it for free, but it sounds like you want to DIY. You could always offer to give them $20 to help you fit one...

Both Hahn and CGS have dyno'ed an improvement in power. I cut my CGS out to put a Hahn muffler in, and the sound and torque is much better.

^^^

I would definitely go with Hahn. It's designed specifically for the 2.0L turbo ecotec. I was happy with my CGS muffler and he talked me into his muffler. I haven't had one complaint. The sound is perfect. At 60-70 mph, the sound is mellow, but when you get into it, it's like a beast. It's perfect IMO.
