Stage I adapter harness from crate engine depot
Got my CED GMS1 harness today....
Now, I'm just waiting on the new engine harness to come in. Ended up getting the Automatic harness for $280 plus tax (wholesale) from a local dealer. I'm hoping I can install it myself....shouldn't be to hard...just time consuming. I also talked to another GM mechanic today about my issue. He said "if it were a sensor causing your problem...you would definently get a code/CEL...I really think it's a wiring issue since you're not getting any codes". Hoping this new harness, CED connectors, and a new lower ZZP charge pipe (to relocate the lower MAP sensor) will do the trick. If it does....I'm havin' an F'n party and EVERYONE is invited!

I think the GM quote for replacing the complete harness was 2 to 2 1/2 hours, though the independent shop I used, gave me a fair quote and stuck to it. It did take them a lot longer than 2 1/2 hours actually more than double that as it's a tight area to work in and they said things like the fuse box had to be removed.
If you have the time, then go for it, but I do think it takes a while.
IMO
Picked up the harness today....looks liek hours and hours of fun
Also have my lower charge pipe coming from ZZP...that way...there will be NO issues of any lower MAP sensor hitting anything...or NO wiring issues with the plug & play harness

Yes it will be hours and hours, but if you're tackling this yourself, just remember one thing. TAKE YOUR TIME! Wiring work can get on your nerves. Back in my "mechanic for a living" days, wiring jobs in the shop were always given to me.
With all the connections,plug-ins,clamps,ties,wraps etc.etc.etc., something is just NOT going to cooperate.Take a break every once in a while.
If you take you're time, you will end up with excellant results.
(i.e. Kevin's Mystery Wire. Dont leave parts of the old harness in there like someone did to his car.

Installed the new engine harness. Really wasn't that bad...just very time consuming...took me a total of abot 6 hours. Saved alot of money doing it myself! Anyhow...I also installed the CED plug and play connectors and a ZZP lower charge pipe. *WARNING* The lower charge pipe DOES NOT FIT on the automatics. I had to cut about 5 inches off in order for it to "kind of" fit. I would feel alot better if I could get some silicone couplers that are longer so it has more of a bite. So far...boost is holding fine though...and it hasn't popped off. Also, the lower MAP sensors hits the radiator plastic shroud. So....I had to cut out a small portion of the shroud for everything to clear.
Other then that...the car seems to be running very very good. Seems to hold great and hits everybit of 24 lbs of boost and doesn't surge like it did before. Now here is the kicker:
I reinstalled my Trifecta Tune...and all hell broke loose. It surges really bad...just like before. Anyone have any idea what the heck is up with that?? I'm running just the GMS1 tune for now...and it runs great.

Glad to hear that you are making progress. I would ask Vince about the tune. He worked one up for me that boost pretty smooth, but it was His 7th update, maybe ask for a copy of it, he changed a lot of stuff to get it smooth. 24 is way high for stg1, thats the highest I have heard, but the guage isn't very accurate.
Have the forge valve on the way, then I'll be asking for more boost from Vince.
