Stage Kit Map hitting AC looks Resolved.
Stage Kit Map hitting AC looks Resolved.
The dealer had to remove my bumper and shim the intercooler forward. It seems to have fixed the issue of my T Map hitting the AC compressor.
I saw 22 PSI today and no cut out of the waste gate early.
Not the spacing I feel was due to the dealer installing the intercooler back farther than it was before my accident.
The spacing is critical as my problem was a 1/4 inch or less issue.
If you have a stage kit and it the boost pops off early it may be a contact problem. Check this area and see if it is hitting.
A special Thanks to the engineer at GM Performance that helped me, This saved me and the dealer a lot of grief with his help.
If you replace your tube watch the alignement as if your off a little it can make a differance.

Good deal
Glad you got that resolved and can now enjoy your ride as intended with the kit. You posting your experience along with others , has shed light on a possible post install issues that I conveyed to my tech during my install. I had him check the clearance and flex the A/C lines away anyways, and check the torque of all my plumbing fittings while up on the lift to prevent boost leaks.

Yes I figure it is something that someone else may have happen. It is something hard to find as it has space not under acceleration. But when it is touching your not under the car to see it.
I think this may be a rare thing but an issue that could happen and should be looked at during the install. Just as tightening the tubes at the time of install.
