superchips with stage 1, anyone got this combo

got the stage 1 done a few years back. would like to add another simple tune option with a code reader and all the other options it provides. i understand there is more precise tunes available but currently engine is stock.

if you have both stage 1 and the superchip cortex please chime in. are they redundant or work together making it better.

thx dave

Superchips and stage 1 are about the same when it comes to performance...and a trifecta budget tune is almost half the price of superchips. I used to have superchips, and it ran about the same boost pressure as stage 1 19-21 psi

so your advice badassbowtie , if i already have the GM stage 1 , would there be any gains having both together, other than the code reader.

i would go trifecta once i do the exhaust and intake piping. just go this route right up front and get a redo once the pipes are done

thx

No it won't be any different. I would buy a nice code scanner and save a couple hundred bucks

Also with the trifecta software, you can read and erase CELs anytime if you opt to keep the cable.
