Ohhh perfect, a fellow Canadian with an SS. I am in London Ont, any recommendations on dealer install? Or even advice to give them if they had troubles at all?

Sorry, no recommendations on dealers. I had mine installed in Cobourg (about 60mins east of Tororonto so that probably won't work for you). He was real pricey too.

For better or worse there just aren't that many SS's up here, so it's likely your upgrade will be the first that the dealer performs. Get as much info as you can before you bring it in.

You can always tell a SS driver with a kit installed....on the front of his/her shirt there is an overlay that depicts a crab or lobster with eating utensils in the claws....( OK, a bib if you must know......)

Out of curiousity, was that Lobster on the table, with the eating utensils taking the meat out of the claws? "Moon" [Trifecta tune].

Its still much cheaper to get the parts from US (crateenginedepot) and get it installed at a local dealership. Most of the busier shops have experience with it now I would think, its been out for a couple years for cobalts, solstice/sky and HHRs. Not sure of any in your area though.

I got my kit from Crate engine dopot. I am getting it installed at Bob Myers in Ajax. A member of the OCC ( Ontario Cobalt Club ) is a tech there and he is going to do the install. He has done an install on another OCC members Cobalt. He says it will be 2 hrs labour.
