ZZ performance EU GM 3rd Gen 2.0 motors

I am debating about buying a European GM Performance 3rd generation 2.0 engine from ZZ Performance. They claim good up to 400hp their forged model up to 500hp. Has anyone had any experience with these motors?

Is this LDK? You need to provide more details.

And, you aren't going to want over 400 hp in a FWD, are you, seriously?

LNF had a GM Build Book that said you get up to around 500 before you had to upgrade the internals. They were at over 1000 hp with forged parts and a drag setup in a stock block.

Please elaborate on your plans...

I honestly dont know. What I do know is it is a 2008 HHR SS with a 2.0 w/turbo. As for the 500hp. I was only saying this number because ZZ performance has new motors and their standard they say will be ok to 400hp and their forged version up to 500hp.
My problem lies in that I happen up on this car pretty cheap. Hunters down the over heat problem and determined it needs at least a head gasket, radiator, probably a water pump and thermostat. But the car does have 200,000 miles on it. So my reasoning is the consumption of my time in the shop, my limited experience with Overhead cams was to replace the motor, well I am a hot rod guy, so I can almost guarantee I will be wanting to add power to this car as I become familiar with the turbo motor. So why not buy a good base motor to start with.
