Dose the throttle body's from other years of HHR's 2.2 engines work with out to many hiccups on the 08 2.2 engine? The local junk yard has an 06 HHR with a 2.2 engine or a 2011 2.2 VVT engine.

The 2006 will not work, the 2011 will , should be just plug and play.
do not move the throttle plate manually.

Can’t you get a new one for about $100 ? I would do that before gambling on an old, used junkyard part.
