Sorry , I didn’t even think about weather this was an SS or LS/LT, as I believe it’s never mentioned if we’re dealing with a NA Ecotec or it is a 2009 SS
Sorry. Post #39 says 2.2/2.4 tune. Its NA.
EDIT: I also have a traction control button on my dash.

Yes, that's by design for the fan to turn on at that temp. But if it's a regular occurrence, that's not healthy.


I used to get as high as 210* idling in traffic.

Yeah i mean its been that way for years. If I sit for about 10 to 15 mins at most itll get that high. But driving down the road it stays 185 to 190. It has 246k on the clock. Im also pretty sure its needed a water pump since Ive bought it. But it doesn't over heat so I haven't really worried about it.
